Our Journey from California to Elmira: The Juice Collective Story

In California summer of 2019, the seeds of The Juice Collective were planted right in my own kitchen. Home, family, and the rich tapestry of Mexican culture that envelops Southern California inspired every drop of our journey.

In the heart of the vibrant SoCal scene, where the aroma of Mexican cuisine fills the air, my kitchen became a hub for creativity. Agua Fresca flowed freely, a refreshing tradition that accompanied many a meal in local Mexican restaurants. But amidst the abundance, one thing stood out – Juice Bars on every corner, a testament to the diverse and health-conscious community we called home.

Fast forward to 2020, we found ourselves in the historic Queen City of Elmira, NY. A move that brought a change of scenery but not a shift in our passion for community and flavors that tell a story.

In the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, my parents, champions of small businesses, ran two soul food havens. Their belief in the transformative power of bringing people together through food left a lasting mark. With their spirit as our guide, we carried their legacy to Elmira.

October 2020 brought a heartbreaking loss – my father's passing. His parting words echoed in my ears, urging me to seize the moment and launch The Juice Collective. And so, in honor of him, we poured our grief and determination into a full-throttle launch.

The Juice Collective became my canvas, a masterpiece painted with the colors of home, love, and diverse flavors. It's not just a juice bar; it's a tribute to roots, a fusion of all the things that make home, home.
